"TE IKA A MĀUI" PHOTOGRAPHIC PRINTS /// FIRST LOOK
Kia ora and welcome back 🙏
This week is all about the latest series of photographic prints I've curated for my online store entitled, "Te Ika a Māui."
For so long my website has consisted of just one products page (featuring my favourite work) as well as a gallery page where visitors could view the different series I'd created, but, not buy any of the prints - very silly. In light of this, the time was right to re-design my website and properly manage the series I already had in place AND add a fourth. Speaking of which, the 3 original series entitled "Earth," "Sea," and "Sky" are all ocean related images that were categorised and given their respective names depending on where the shots were captured from - off the beach, in the water or from the sky.
In comparison, "Te Ika a Māui" is an entirely different series, a collection that pays homage to the North Island of New Zealand. From mountains to native plants, this series (like all of my others) in an ongoing collection that will continue to evolve and grow just as my photography does.
