Kia ora and welcome back to this weeks blog! When I first embarked on my blogging journey I never anticipated how much time would be involved to bring them to fruition week in and week out! In saying that, I really enjoy the process (designing and research) and feel as though my writing is getting better the more I do - like everything I suppose!
Anyway, this weeks blog was born out of a recent Pinterest binge I found myself in the other day. I know I should be spending waaaaaay more time on Pinterest because I know that's where my target market is, but, unlike FaceBook & Instagram, I still don't really know how to use the platform properly. So, when looking for pins about using Pinterest properly I veered off (as you do) to look at something more familiar and stumbled upon some unique ways to display prints. That initial idea was Washi Tape, and after a bit more 'binging' I realised you don't have to put a hole in your wall to show off your precious prints.

LEAN IT

Whether it's on a shelf or on the floor, leaning your prints is the easiest option of the 3 and I really dig the simplicity. I've seen huge pieces leaned on hallway benches & window sills, and another trend is to display a number of smaller pieces on themselves to create an interesting montage - using the right images in this instance is a good way to tell a story with your prints.
PLACE IT ON AN EASEL - OF SOME SORT

Purchasing an easel to display your framed print adds a real impact to any space, though, it's the most expensive option of the three. As a standalone piece of decor, the use of an easel will attract any guests eyes to the frame and stand out as an object of desire in any room.
GET CREATIVE WITH WASHI TAPE

As I mentioned earlier it was actually Washi Tape that brought this whole blog into existence and it's the most affordable way to display your prints as you don't need to have it custom framed. As you can see above, theres many different ways to 'frame' them up so get creative on it and let your own style dictate the outcome.
